Taking advantage of the recent release of Android API 24 and the GnssMeasurement class, developers now have access to unprocessed pseudorange measurements in certain smartphones. GNSS Compare is basically a tool for scientists to compare their algorithms. For those who are not GNSS experts, it can also serve as a teaching tool on the subject. The Galileo Smartphone App Challenge was about creating a smartphone application that will allow the user to choose which satellite constellation to use for PVT estimation.
